Instructor

Dominik Debiec

Second degree Black Belt under 10 x Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion Roger Gracie - The greatest Jiu-Jitsu fighter of all time.

Sport career.

Dominik started his journey with martial arts when he was ten years old with Judo for about 3 years, after which he moved on to other disciplines, still looking for that perfect sport. Over the years he has tried Boxing, Kickboxing, Krav Maga, and many other non-martial arts disciplines that helped him develop athletically and to grow stronger as he continued exploring and enduring new areas of combat sport.

In 2006 he joined the famous Roger Gracie at his academy in London and he was immediately hooked by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since then he has been devoting his time to training and learning the depths of the Gentle Art. He has become physically and mentally dependent on his training routine never failing to test and reassess himself during various tournaments.

Eventually his efforts were awarded by Roger Gracie himself grading Dominik with his Black Belt in 19th of July 2014.

“To me BJJ is a lifestyle! It gives me confidence, control and a peace of mind in everyday situations. It gives me fitness, strength and stamina, like I never knew before in my life. But above all, this sport never gets boring; I continuously get exposed to new moves, counters and techniques, even after years of hard training. Nobody knows all the moves as combinations are endless. It’s like a human chess game.”

Dominik has developed his passion for teaching and developing his and the skills of others very early in his BJJ career and even before the arrival of his black belt. He has been teaching seminars as well as private classes since 2011 and has established a group of followers and loyal students.

Dominik has been nicknamed ‘Soldado’ by his fellow BJJ training partners and if you are keen to know why, you should try one of his classes and ask him in person.
